What We Do
the land and the sea and the sky up so high,
the clouds and the rains and the storms that do lie,
the rivers,the streams ,the canals that do flow,
the land we were given to nurture and grow.
the mountains ,the valleys,the sun in the sky,
the depleting ozone ,need we ask why?
the forests and desserts ,just wasting away.
for mans careless deeds, our earth does decay.
the beaches ,the country,the beauty spots we need,
all covered in litter,from the food we did feed,
the fauna,the wildlife,just wasting way,
from mans careless deeds ,our earth in decay.
the tigers ,the elephants,the whales are a few,
just killed off by man,nothing better to do!!
for the riches of others,causing poverty in more,
the slums of our earth ,where life is so raw.
our happiness ,our luxuries,our need to live nice,
for this mother earth,is paying the price.
do we need this? and do we need that?
without these things ,would life be so bad?
to love and to cherish and do all one can,
to repair mother earth,the saviour of man,
the rewards will be endless,and life be divine,
to stay on this earth ,this sweet home of mine.
